Notes from the Pitons – creative genius reaches for the sun, moon and stars

One common aspect of human existence is to focus on the product, to the detriment of the process. In fact, our work here is never complete until the heart stops beating. We build and acquire, plan and organize, to dream and fight. In the heat of productivity, we often fail during the trip. I once took a yoga class where the teacher recorded this idea very nice if they told us to spend more time, which means that the space between Poznan (how it feels to get there) compared toin itself. She invited us to devote our practice to reflect on how our body and mind feels when you go into the space between which, as we flow from pose to the next.

There is a man whose gift to the world is unsurpassed architectural example of the heights that humans can fly when we are aware, the gap between a vision and a finished product. Russian-Canadian architect Nick Troubetzkoy and creative genius who designed and built Anse Chastanet followed bythe latest Jade Mountain on the island of Saint Lucia, the hard work closely with other developers together to create exceptional beauty of light, glass and space. Lit the exquisite natural elements to appeal to a refined luxury to create a paradise in a spectacular way no words can do justice. One of his many creations of distinction is its columns reach the sky, an important part of the project of Jade Mountain. Some will be topped by barbedSculptures and glass design created by David Knox other streams of light. What is most interesting to me as the columns also reflect Troubetzkoy appreciation for the process rather than product. The pillars stand tall and proud still incomplete, remind us that never work Troubetzkoy done a true sign of a creative genius.

Back in early September, I took a copy of the magazine of the Caribbean in a kiosk airport in San Jose, Costa Rica. The magazine highlighted oneArticle on the Top Ten Hotels in the Caribbean. I was immediately with Anse Chastanet, a fascinating Resort in St. Lucia overlooking the Caribbean with a perfect view of the Piton Mountains. The view from this place that I enjoyed on many levels and I fantasized about the prospect of spending a romantic honeymoon in this tropical summer with my husband soon.

A few weeks later I sent an e-mail to Karolin Troubetzkoy, executive director of Anse Chastanet / JadeMining and wife of Nick Troubetzkoy. On November 3rd my husband and I have 4.5 hours to board a Delta flight from Atlanta to St. Lucia, Anse Chastanet reef. In reality the dreams become reality! When we landed at Hewanorra International Airport and met our driver, we were informed that there are Jade Mountain, passed the companion use of Anse Chastanet are built to a height greater than the same mountain. I was aware of the fact that the two cities were built, owned and operated by Troubetzkoys anddespite the fact that both are clearly great, I felt a wave of disappointment as I expected, that our time equally divided between the two locations. We had planned to spend our first few nights at Anse Chastanet before moving on to Jade Mountain, and I could not wait to experiment a bit 'of each. Now I was worried that our entire stay at Jade Mountain can be issued.

The winding mountain roads we found a breathtaking view over the Caribbean Sea, colorful houses built next tothe mountains and many small villages below. We twisted and turned our way of Jade Mountain, watching the local children make their home from school, as we chatted with the driver for the island's climate, cuisine and lifestyle. I told the driver, as we sat on the wrong side of the airplane as we could only glimpse of the Twin Peaks in our approach to St. Lucia. I was curious to witness their majestic beauty in person.

Our driverstated that we know exactly when we approached the place where you find the Petit and Gros Piton mountains behind us, as if to go. We walked through the village of Soufriere on the southwest coast of the island and into the inclined zig-zag towards Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain on the road so bumpy I thought I was back in Costa Rica fidelity to the words of the driver on the Twin Peaks his place behind us as we approached the place. St. Luciasimilar to Costa Rica, in relation to the topography, the island is very green and with black volcanic sand beaches and dense tropical rainforests. Tourists visiting Saint Lucia for eco-tourism and adventure appeal. Snorkeling and diving among coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and swaying through the forest on a zip line tour is preferable in Saint Lucia.

We extend a warm welcome from Jade Mountain, where we spent a refreshing drink and a towel with a freshMint / floral scent when we left the car. Then we were whisked away to our private sanctuary. When I was in the sanctuary I was surprised by a vision so beautiful to me with tears in his eyes and almost breathing on me. I do not know whether to jump up and down or on hands and knees and kissed the ground. We soon learned that to be admitted as Jade Mountain Anse Chastanet is a sought after upgrade that many regular customers (ofthat there are many) who spend all the time between visits to hope and pray. We have recognized the comic aspect of our concerns expressed above, when we learned at the airport, we headed instead for Jade Mountain Anse Chastanet. We have also learned that Jade Mountain guests have access to the facilities at both locations (restaurants / Spa / etc), while guests Anse Chastanet are not entitled to the services of Jade Mountain. We had no complaints.

The incredible beauty of this place isdifficult to capture in words. For this reason, many pictures and video clips, but this is not enough to communicate the experience. At Jade Mountain, there are three levels of sanctuaries stars, the moon and the sun. Just when you think you've had a fantastic vision of hope in a life experience, living once again think, not because Troubetzkoy stop to perfection. His talent, the gap between heaven and earth. Here, too, not just with words, or photographs that describe theRefinement of this place.

We had the good fortune to spend two nights sanctuary JA2, a moon-level housing, which assumes that one half of the temple at some 'most glamorous and most expansive sanctuaries star, but less than the sanctuaries themselves. A missing fourth wall, provided a unique approach Troubetzkoy at all levels of accommodation offered at Anse Chatanet / Jade Mountain, a direct tax on his head in view of the Pitons from the Caribbean, with swelling, white cloudsconstant peaks like smoke. Troubetzkoy art designed the site so that visitors are seeking, always with nature, while you can not see that his guests a deep sense of freedom, of connection with nature and absolute privacy.

The cloud formations in Saint Lucia are impressive, and the vision of Twin Peaks rising out of the great sea blue turquoise is awe inspiring. All the sun and moon in the lounge Jade Mountain feature a large private infinity poolliterally spilling over the edge of the village, and creates the illusion of an infinite expanse and unity with the surrounding forest and the sea. Soon after our arrival, we delivered a small phone with two buttons, a symbol of a female and the other, a male. We were informed that the female occupied keychain and button men of our greatest cathedral, Vito, who is there to ensure that our rings every mood. During our stay we drove between the two different Major Duomos,Vito and Okita, and both have been so warm and friendly as personal friends.

One king-size bed, mosquito net, the restaurant is missing fourth wall beside the infinity pool invites guests to get up in the morning and take a refreshing dip before the day. I loved waking sight of the sunrise and the fierce Twin Peaks stand high in the distance. One of the many brilliant creations Troubetzkoy and his innovative fusion of color, light and glass. Each pool is made ofIridescent glass tiles and recycled every shrine is located in a different color from red to yellow, plum, and the beautiful shades of blue and green. Our pool is a relaxing color turquoise, and I was especially with the rotating light so that guests their favorite color (or changing colors to choose from), the pool is illuminated at night intrigued. Beside the pool was a sitting area to see if the ideal place for sunbathing lounge chairs provided (birthday suit acceptable), or the sunset. Furtherinside the shrine was a cozy living room with sofa, table and chairs.

The staff at Jade Mountain, and indeed all the people we met in St. Lucia, were incredibly friendly, attentive and genuine. The evening of our arrival we were invited to the welcome party on the roof of the operator of Jade Mountain, where we enjoyed the pleasure of Karolin Troubetzkoy. Mrs Troubetzkoy clearly enjoys interacting with his guests and make them feel welcomed asmade an appearance on the second night of our stay in Caribbean buffet on the beach at Anse Chastanet beach restaurant, where a group of percussionists who mingled with the sound of waves gently breaking on the beach for your convenience. We had fun talking to Kashmir, the operations director, and Peter John Paul II, executive assistant manager, who in close cooperation with two resorts and takes the planning of the wedding. Peter John Paul II was kind and patient as he shared interesting details about the positionsand explains the ease with which the bride and groom can be a marriage at Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain plan. After confirming the date of Peter John Paul II takes the rest of the coordination of the cake and champagne, flowers, music, and photographer. The bride and groom can choose from a variety of wedding venues to choose from the beach at Jade Mountain Club (limited to Jade Mountain guests) or a private ceremony in their personal sanctuary. I would like to plan my wedding, had beenCost Free!

My favorite meeting place was the beach at Anse Chastanet, where guests are provided with comfortable rooms, thatched huts, and a flag to increase each time / service bar and restaurant is desired. Anse Chastanet offers a casual beach bar and restaurant, which is the evening of a fine Indian restaurant. This was my favorite of all the restaurants in Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain, and there are several good options to choose from. On our first night, when wedinner on the roof to Jade Mountain Club with a splendid view over the sea, where it is possible the light of day, you can see all the way to St. Vincent. The service was perfect and the food is delicious to taste with fresh fish, appetizers, fish and many other delicacies. Despite our marriage / fatigue of travel, we enjoyed a luxurious four courses including dessert. For my birthday, my husband Glenn held a private dinner for two on the beach at Anse Chastanet. Staff recruitedA special tent for us with a table for two surrounded by tiki torches, where we had dinner at naan hot, spicy curry chicken and fresh fish wrapped in banana leaf. It 'was my favorite experience of the whole week. The only complaint I have is about Anse Chastanet / Jade Mountain, which I had to go. Thank you Nick and Karolin, because you have given us the gift of many memories.
